Giulianelli: EXCLUSIVE - Ibra pal on Man Utd, PSG; Maksimovic & Man Utd? Mad Zamparini

What manager could forget about the striker that led his team to the Treble? A Treble of a national league title, national cup and Champions League? No-one, of course.

And Jose Mourinho is a man with a long memory: So he is thinking about Zlatan Ibrahimovic for his new adventure with Manchester United. And it would be very interesting seeing the two men working together again after that incredible period spent at Inter. And it would also be interesting because it would be the first time for Ibra in the Premier League. At the age of almost 35: an interesting challenge, no doubt.

But, like every journalist who deserves to be named as such, I have dug in depth into this story to find confirmations (or denials) and this is what I've obtained: words from one person very close to Ibra: "It's too early, anything could happen.

"Zlatan will pay attention to every proposal he will receive."

So I asked if he could even remain at Paris Saint Germain, and the answer has been again: "Anything could happen."

UNITED BEHIND NAPOLI FOR MAKSIMOVIC

Another name for the new Manchester United is the Serbian central defender Nikola Maksimovic, now playing with Torino in Serie A.

He could be the right name to take the place of Nemanja Vidic in the heart of the Red Devils box; but to take him they will have to fight against Napoli, who have been following the defender since last summer and even in January made a bid for him.

Maksimovic at Old Trafford could find again his former teammate Matteo Darmian. But now the more likely destination for his future seems still to be Napoli; in second place there is even AC Milan, but only if Sinisa Mihajlovic stays at San Siro next season.

I hope that I will be able to give you more accurate news about Maksimovic in my next column, so stay tuned.

ZAMPARINI METHODS DESTINED FOR RELEGATION

My last words and thoughts is about what's happening in Palermo with the president Maurizio Zamparini, who has fired for the second time Giuseppe Iachini in the same season and, at the beginning of March, became the seventh change of head coach in the same year.

This is not the way to manage a football team, this is the right way to be relegated if it was the real aim.

As Giulio Andreotti, seven times Italian Prime Minister, used to say, 'If you think evil, it is a sin, but you may often be right'.
