Olivier Giroud is ready to push to leave Arsenal in January.
The Mirror says Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is set to lose Giroud next month – putting West Ham and Crystal Palace on alert.
Giroud's World Cup place is now under threat as the 31-year-old is not playing regular first-team football and has not started in the Premier League this season. However, with his wife expecting, he wants to stay close to home.
A source close to the situation at Arsenal said: “Olivier does not want to disturb and uproot his family.
“Ideally, he wants to stay but he needs football – there are options in London for him."
West Ham and Palace are both interested, initially in a loan deal.
