Olivier Giroud says he's "proud" to be joining Arsenal. The France striker confirmed he will be in London this week to finalise his £12million Arsenal move and sign a five-year contract.
In his first interview since they agreed a fee with Ligue 1 champions Montpellier, Giroud, 25, said: "I am so happy to be signing for Arsenal - it is something that represents so much for me."
Giroud, who bagged 21 goals in 36 appearances last term, will become Emirates boss Arsene Wenger's second summer signing following the £11m capture of Lukas Podolski from Cologne.
He added: "I've always dreamed of playing in the Premier League and Arsenal are a great club with many French players."
