Giroud back but Cazorla, Ramsey not involved as Arsenal get set for Reading

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has provided the latest team news ahead of the club's EFL Cup fourth round fixture with Reading.

The Frenchman revealed that striker Olivier Giroud could make his return from his toe injury, but the game will come too soon for midfielder Aaron Ramsey, who has been sidelined since the opening day of the season, and Santi Cazorla, who came off in the seconds half of the Champions League win over Ludogorets Razgrad last week.

He said: "Cazorla will not be available, but it looked after the game that apart from some tired legs and disappointed minds, we had nothing else to declare.

"I think Olivier will be included, but for Aaron it is too early although he is back in full training now."

Ramsey is expected to return in the weekend's game at Sunderland on Saturday while there has been no clear update on Cazorla, who suffered an achilles injury in the game against Ludogorets.
