Girona should embrace the mooted LaLiga fixture with Barcelona in Miami.

That's according to Jaume Roures, the founding partner of Mediapro.

"It's very positive, especially for Girona who have just arrived in LaLiga Santander," he said.

"They will be talked out throughout the world of football, and it will help consolidate the competition."

Roures revealed UEFA are also considering staging the Champions League final in New York.

"They are negotiating to play a Champions League final in New York," he added.
