Girona have clinched a new loan deal for Manchester City midfielder Aleix Garcia.

After spending the past season in the LaLiga, Garcia has agreed to return to Girona for another 12 months. This despite an inconsistent campaign.

Girona sports chief Quique Carcel managed to convince Garcia about returning thanks to the departure of coach Pablo Machin for Sevilla. His replacement, Eusebio Sacristan, is eager to work with Garcia, assured Carcel.

Eusebio's style of play is expected to better suit Garcia compared with Machin's system last season.
