Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof's girlfriend is concerned about football over Christmas.

Lindelof started in the draw at Leicester City on Saturday and is experiencing the first Christmas programme of his career in England.

Maja Nilsson admits she's no fan, concerned about what it will mean to their future family.

Maja said on her Livet pa laktaren podcast: "Christmas Eve may be less special for them (the children) if he also goes away that day.

"Right now, it works because our families are here. But I think it's getting worse when we get children. Now it sounds awful, but that day (Christmas Eve) may become less special to them if he plays that day too.

"But the children will live the same life as I do, so maybe they will not even reflect that it's weird that Dad is playing on Christmas Eve."
