Sebastian Giovinco's agent says he leaves Juventus on good terms.
The midfielder will join Toronto FC at the end of the season.
"When we met with Juventus, it was in an absolutely diplomatic manner and with no controversy whatsoever," said Andrea D'Amico to Tuttomercatoweb.
"We understood that they did not intend to prolong the contract at the kind of salary that the player already received. So there was no point in insisting.
"Juventus are a great team, and a great club. We'd like to say thank you to them for what Sebastian became, because part of the credit goes to them.
"The future is in MLS, other players will come here."
