Giovani dos Santos says he's been inspired by his teammates to make the most of his Tottenham career.
Dos Santos has used the example of team-mates Roman Pavlychenko and Gareth Bale to illustrate why he can still cut it at White Hart Lane.
The pair were tipped for moves away from Spurs before recapturing their best form to play major roles in the club's Champions League qualification.
"Six, nine months ago Roman and Gareth looked as if they might not be here much longer but then they came in and took their chance and had a great end of the season," said the Mexican.
"Now they are big players with Tottenham again. I feel I can do the same. In football, everything can happen. One day you are in the top and one day you are down.
"But I think you must work every day, be focused on that and believe you can play. All the players who are here are great professional football players and everybody has the chance to perform."
