Giovani dos Santos is digging in his heels at Tottenham.

Dos Santos, who arrived from Barcelona last summer for £6m in a blaze of publicity, has been offered to Lyon in part-exchange for Brazilian striker Fred.

But Dos Santos said: "I have never spoken to Lyon and I would like to stay at Tottenham, because ever since I have come to the club I have not had any luck. I am young, ambitious and I want to stay and succeed in England."
