Tottenham hero David Ginola is disappointed with Kyle Walker's admission he'd like to play as a right-back for England.
The Man City fullback said on Tuesday that playing as a centre-back under Gareth Southgate is a 'step backward' after having played his entire career on a right-back position.
"He's just said a little bit too much," Ginola said to talkSPORT.
"You aim in your career to play in the World Cup, full stop
"Just be proud of wearing the Three Lions shirt and playing for your country.
"When you play for your country at the World Cup, it's not about yourself.
"Yes, you have a preferred position but you're representing your country, so it doesn't matter.
"You just have to be good and play as well as possible."
