David Ginola feels former club Tottenham can win the Premier League title this season.
The Frenchman is confident the club's performances this season can be the start of a sustained period of success, although he fears that Gareth Bale, one of Tottenham's most dangerous players, might leave should interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona solidify into a firm offer.
"Now, the players realise they are good enough to play in the Champions League every year. They have found a way not only to win games but to play proper, accurate football, the way I like to watch it, so I'm very impressed.
"They are a rich club, with money to spend. It seems that now they have the staff in charge who look to the future in a wiser way. For a guy like Gareth Bale that has to be good, but the problem is if you get a proposition from other clubs, so you think twice.
"When you play well for your club, you create opportunities for yourself and some of those are very hard to refuse. Can you imagine if you have a proposition from Madrid or Barcelona? You have a chance to stay at Spurs or spend some time in Spain. It must be difficult to think about it." "Tottenham are the team to watch in the next 10 years," Ginola, who is president of children's charity Sparks, told the London Evening Standard. "Unlike Manchester United, Chelsea or Arsenal, they haven't won many trophies in the last 10 to 15 years, but in the next decade they will be a team to follow.
