Gini Wijnaldum delighted to be on Liverpool scoresheet

Gini Wijnaldum was delighted to be on the Liverpool scoresheet in their friendly win at Hertha Berlin.

The Dutch midfielder played the first half of the Reds' 3-0 victory over Hertha Berlin and scored their second goal with a low shot from the edge of the box - his first for the club away from Anfield.

"We've worked really hard, we train a lot and to play a game like this after training really hard makes it really difficult," he told LFCTV.

"It wasn't really comfortable, maybe the score said it was, but it was quite hard.

"If you train hard and you can bring it to the game then it gives you more pleasure. if you train hard and it doesn't work in the game it end up feeling like you do it for nothing. For now we train hard and so far it's going well in the games so we can be proud of ourselves.

"I already did it at Newcastle in various games before the competition starts. Now here also but I hope to do it in the league also. For me it doesn't matter where I score, if I score it makes me happy."
