Gillett determined to sell Liverpool share to DIC

Liverpool co-owner George Gillett is ready to go to court for the right to sell his 50 per cent share in the club to Dubai International Capital.

The News of the World says Gillett intends to exploit a legal loophole in his agreement with co-owner Tom Hicks and remove the veto preventing the £200million sale of his 50 per cent stake.

It is believed this veto expires at the end of May but Hicks' lawyers will challenge this and drag the Anfield civil war into the High Court.
