George Gillett could be on the brink of leaving Liverpool.
Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdullah al-Saud, the chairman of Saudi investment firm F6, has confirmed in the last 24 hours he's in talks about buying 50 per cent of the club.
And The Times says Barry Didato, a director of F6, claimed last night that Prince Faisal is carrying out due diligence with a view to buying all or part of Gillett's shares.
Gillett is in Italy for Liverpool's match against Fiorentina and has refused to speak on the record about his plans for the Anfield club or the possibility of incoming investment.
