Departing Manchester United chief executive David Gill says winning the Champions League in 2008 was his favourite moment.
Gill had a tough start to his tenure with Arsenal winning the Premier League in 2003-04 before Jose Mourinho's Chelsea claimed back-to-back league crowns.
United, though, bounced back to win the title in 2007.
And it is this success, as well as the 2008 Champions League win over the Blues in Moscow, which Gills ranks as his best moments in the job.
He added: "Speaking with Alex and Carlos Queiroz, they felt we needed to change the team so the 2006-07 title was a really important moment and then, of course, we followed it up quickly in 2008.
"Then you can't forget the scenes in Moscow. I had to apologise to people like Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini for my celebrations after we won the game!
"That's the beauty of this club and it's given me so many proud moments.
"There are other things like the development of the stadium and redevelopment of Carrington but Manchester United is about what happens on the pitch."
