Manchester United director David Gill has played down the size of Wayne Rooney's new deal.
Gill was speaking at a business leaders function about Financial Fair Play.
The Daily Mail says Gill revealed Rooney isn't earning £300,000 a week but "will not be wondering where the next holiday is coming from".
