Gilks agrees terms with Blackpool

Matthew Gilks looks set to remain at Blackpool after agreeing a new deal with the club.

The goalkeeper's future at Bloomfield Road was unclear after his contract expired at the end of the Seasiders' ill-fated relegation season but it appears as though he will re-sign for Ian Holloway.

The 29-year old was being linked with the likes of Aston Villa and Swansea City but skysports.com suggests he is set to sign a two-year deal at Blackpool as Holloway goes about assembling a squad capable of gaining promotion back to the Premier League.
