Gilberto Silva wants to commit the rest of his career to Arsenal amid rumoured further interest from Valencia and Inter Milan.
The Spaniards tried to lure the Gunners' former stand-in skipper last month, as did Inter Milan, and intend to test the club's resolve again when the transfer window re-opens.
A source close to the player revealed: "There were bids from Valencia and Inter during the summer of around £10million and Valencia have made it clear they will be back in the January transfer window.
"The lad though is desperate to stay at the Emirates and win the Champions Cup, as an Arsenal player it's his dream."
Gilberto, despite being overlooked for the club captain's role recently, is ready to pledge himself to the club for life, and said: "It would be extremely honourable to finish my career as a Gunner."
