Alberto Gilardino was thrilled with Fiorentina's superb Champions League win over Debrecen on Tuesday night.
The Viola beat Debrecen 4-3 last night in Budapest to go second on six points behind Olympique Lyonnais with nine in their group.
"It didn't start well, then we managed to turn it around and then conceded another two," said Gila. "In any case, I think that after going ahead we always had the game in hand and could've scored more."
Adrian Mutu bagged a brace and also set up Gilardino's goal, confirming he has rediscovered his form.
"I am happy for Adrian, above all for his performance. He is a player who at the start of the season was not 100 per cent fit, but now he is back to his best and that can only help the team."
