Alberto Gilardino admits he feels at home with Fiorentina.
The former AC Milan striker has rediscovered his best form since arriving in Florence.
Gilardino said: "I'll say it even if it sounds banal. But, truthfully, in coming to Florence and rediscovering myself I understood that money does not give you morale and the desire to play.
"It's true that our careers don't last long and that at 32 or 33 you practically stop working so it's only right that you also look at how much you earn, but I am fine right now.
"I like Florence and the Florentines a lot. They are giving me great emotions and I believe I am doing the same for them."
