Gil Vicente's partnership with Manchester City has kicked off in earnest.

The Portuguese outfit have welcomed two players identified by City for end of season trials.

Angolan Carlos Sequeira and Suleiman from Guinea-Bissau are both 18 years of age and youth internationals for their respective countries.

Gil Vicente president António Fiusa said: "Manchester City was in negotiations with Braga, Academica and others, but eventually chose Gil. It's a matter of pride for us."
