Ryan Giggs has stalled on accepting an assistant's role to Louis van Gaal at Manchester United. The Daily Star says Giggs has been offered the chance to work alongside Van Gaal as his No.2 in a new-look management team at Old Trafford.
The veteran Welshman flew to Holland with United chief executive Ed Woodward on Wednesday to meet Van Gaal and discuss the role.
But he has asked United bosses if he can have the weekend to think about it before making a decision on Monday.
