Giggs getting used to limited Man Utd contribution

Ryan Giggs says he is not too bothered about being used even more sparingly as he continues along in his Manchester United career.

The 38-year old Welshman, who could make his 600th Premier League appearance against Wigan Athletic tomorrow, has played just nine minutes so far this season but insists he is not getting irritated by his new role.

"I am not frustrated," he said. "Playing less and less is something I'm used to, especially at the beginning of the season.

"It's a squad game and over the last four or five years I've played my share of games. You've just got to bide your time and when you get your chance take it."

And Giggs says he still plans to keep playing for his beloved United even if Sir Alex Ferguson denies him regular playing time.

"I maintain everything that I've said about carrying on playing," he added. "As long as I'm enjoying it, playing my part and playing well then I'll carry on.

"When it does happen, getting to 600 Premier League games will be something I'm proud of. It's a great achievement.

"But I if I'm honest I don't really take too much notice of things like that.

"Hopefully I can celebrate it with a win - that's the most important thing."
