Giggs eyeing new record at Man Utd

Ryan Giggs is eyeing a new record to add to his amazing Manchester United career.

No one has ever won four Premier League titles in a row and no team has ever retained the Champions League.

Giggs, 34, is chasing both. And while the United squad may be torn apart by injuries right now, he sees no reason why Alex Ferguson's men cannot do it.

He insisted to The Sun: "I don't look at personal records but I do look at winning things which have never been done before.

"No one had won three Premier League titles on the run and we did that. But four hasn't. And no one has ever retained the Champions League - those are the targets this season, that's the challenge.

"We certainly have the potential to do three and then four. It's all about whether you have the hunger and desire, because we've proved we have the quality.

"We have a squad in place which can go on and dominate football. There are good teams out there like Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal - as well as in Europe - so it won't be easy. But we can do it."
