Wales coach Ryan Giggs doesn't believe Aaron Ramsey's contract row with Arsenal will affect his form.

Ramsey's future with the Gunners has been heavily debated in recent weeks.

But Giggs does not expect the contract situation to have any impact on Ramsey's efforts on the pitch.

"It won't be a distraction, footballers are happiest when they're on the pitch, other stuff is just noise that they have to block out," said the Wales manager.

"Aaron is just like Gareth (Bale), an experienced player and a massive player for us.

"You see in training that he just loves playing football. He wants to get on the ball all the time and wants to make runs forward."
