Without mentioning Manchester City by name Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson surely had the Reds cross town rivals in mind when he said the team spirit at Old Trafford was such that none of the player's would risk rocking the boat with public pronouncements. Micah Richards was the latest to confirm he would seek a move if he found himself left out of the City side too often, whilst Emmanuel Adebayor has been similarly vocal.
Yet this does not happen at United who also operate the squad rotation system.
The Republic of Ireland international, said: "This is a great club and we have a great manager, who knows what he is doing and how to keep players happy.
"We have a good group at the minute. Hopefully it will stay like that for a long time."
