Manchester United midfielder Darron Gibson was pleased to get back into the team for the midweek win over West Ham United.

Gibson was impressive in the 3-0 triumph.

He told manutd.com: "Yes I was very pleased to get a run-out especially as I haven't played too much recently. It's always nice to get a start and playing alongside Paul Scholes was great. He's been in really good form recently and you learn so much from him. It's great to play alongside all the midfielders, but Scholesy has got so much experience and you pick up so many little things from him."
