Everton midfielder Darron Gibson was out on the town this week with former Manchester United teammate Wayne Rooney.

The Daily Mail says the pair, along with Rooney's wife Coleen and Gibson's girlfriend, went to see the musical Oliver at the Palace Theatre on Wednesday night, before heading to Chinese restaurant Wings.

Gibson fired home at Goodison Park to see off Manchester City, a result which summed up a disappointing January for Roberto Mancini's men.

At the same time, Manchester United beat Stoke 2-0 at Old Trafford, courtesy of penalties from Javier Hernandez and Dimitar Berbatov.
