Arsenal fullback Kieran Gibbs expects to be back in action before the New Year.

The left-back, sidelined since last month after a hernia operation, is back in full training and was hoping to play in Sunday's game at Manchester City.

But he is more likely to feature against Wolves in the holiday fixture at the Emirates.
