Sunderland winger Emanuele Giaccherini feels they've discovered a steelier approach this season.
The Black Cats have conceded first in all four of their league games so far - but on three occasions they have fought back to secure a draw.
"For me, I think we've made a good start," said the Italian midfielder to The Journal.
"We were very happy with a great point against Spurs, because Tottenham are a very strong team.
"But Burnley is a different game. Maybe less quality, but they'll be more aggressive and have more attitude.
"We are mentally stronger now. The mentality has changed this season."
