Mauro Icardi's ghost writer admits no-one from Inter Milan read the book before it went to print.

Comments in the autobiography have led to a split between the captain and ultras.

Paolo Fontanesi told Premium Sport: “No-one at Inter ever asked me for anything, and maybe that was a mistake by the club, but that's not for me to say.

“I was never allowed to knock on Inter's door to ask if those pages were OK.

“Now we'll review those pages, I'm at the service of the captain. If he tells me to remove those pages then we'll do it."
