Avram Grant has insisted that he will not be leaving his job as manager of the Ghana national team.
The former Chelsea, Portsmouth and West Ham United is one of many names being linked with the Aston Villa vacancy following the West Midlands club's sacking of Paul Lambert of Wednesday.
Grant recently led Ghana to the final at the 2015 African Cup of Nations - which they lost 9-8 to Ivory Coast on penalties - and has made it clear that he has no intentions of leaving his current role with the Black Stars unless English royalty takes the reins at Villa Park.
"I feel lucky because, through football, I have been to so many places," Grant told Sky Sports News HQ.
"Aston Villa is a great club, with great fans and it is an honour to have my name mentioned with them, but I want to continue with Ghana for the next two years, until the end of my contract. I enjoy managing Ghana very much.
"I met Prince William and he asked me 'why don't you come to Aston Villa?'. I said 'when you become the chairman, I will come'.
"As long as my name is mentioned, I feel good with this, but not more than that. I want to continue with Ghana."
