GETTING CLOSER: Mourinho agrees 3-year Chelsea contract
Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has agreed with personal terms with Chelsea, it has been revealed. The Daily Express says a three-year contract has been agreed between Russian owner Roman Abramovich and Mourinho after weeks of talks - but it is yet to be signed.
A source close to Abramovich revealed: "Chelsea have decided that Jose is the man they want now.
"Roman has run out of options and bringing Jose back is the only move that will get the fans back onside. Chelsea now want this to happen - and it will."
Mourinho, who is set to leave Real Madrid after three years in charge, said at the weekend that he could "go back to somewhere I have already been".
