Getafe midfielder Esteban Granero is backing former teammate Ruben de la Red to make a successful comeback at Real Madrid.

De La Red hasn't played since collapsing in a Copa del Rey tie earlier this season and is still undergoing tests run by Real's medical staff.

"I'm sure he's going to play and succeed at Real Madrid, as a friend I wish him well because he deserves success," said Granero.
