Getafe striker Alvaro Vazquez has slammed Cristiano Ronaldo over his Ballon d'Or acceptance.

The Real Madrid star let out a loud 'Siiii!' at the end of his acceptance speech after winning the Ballon d'Or.

"War cries are for war, not ceremonies," posted Alvaro on his Twitter account.

The tweet had a huge reaction, being retweeted over 2,400 times in half an hour and receiving hundreds of comments, many less than polite.

Alvaro then followed up with another message, this time in a completely different tone: "Congratulations to Cristiano for his deserved Ballon d'Or".
