Getafe president Angel Torres says Real Madrid should allow midfield pair Esteban Granero and Ruben de la Red to remain with his club for another season.

Both players are attracting major interest from Spain and England, but Torres says: "They are having a great season. If Madrid have given us De la Red, it is because he needs to play first team football. He should not be sent to another team, but remain at Getafe. Granero is the same.

"He can become a Real Madrid player, but not for the coming season. Granero should ideally remain another year at Getafe."
