Getafe are locked in talks with Sporting Gijon for winger Diego Castro.

Sporting rate Castro at €1.5 million, while Getafe have so far offered €1 million cash for the attacking midfielder.

The 27 year-old's contract at Sporting has less than a year to run, forcing his club to cash in now or risk losing him for nothing from January 1 next year.
