Getafe have signed Benfica defender Lisandro Lopez on a season-long loan.
Benfica bought Lopez from Arsenal de Sarandi earlier in the summer but have opted to send the player away from the Estadio da Luz to gain first-team experience.
Before making the switch to Benfica, the 24-year-old made 122 appearances for Sarandi over three years, scoring 17 goals in the process.
Getafe's official club website released a statement earlier in the day stating: "We have reached an agreement with Benfica for the transfer of Lisandro Lopez for 2013-14."
