Getafe to host UEFA Women's Champions League final

Getafe CF's Coliseum Alfonso Pérez Stadium will stage the first UEFA Women's Champions League final on Thursday 20 May 2010, reports uefa.com. In the new competition, which has replaced the UEFA Women's Cup, the old two-legged final has been replaced by a one-off fixture held two nights before the men's UEFA Champions League final, in the same city.

And with the 2010 final in Madrid, the 16,996-capacity stadium in Getafe, on the outskirts of the Spanish capital, has been chosen to host the women's showpiece.
