Getafe to decide on reported Wigan bid for Colunga

Getafe striker Adrian Colunga is reported to be a target for Wigan who have lodged a £3m bid for the 26 year old. President Angel Torres says a final decision will rest with the club's coach Luis Garcia.

Colunga has been a long-time target for Latics boss Roberto Martinez and was first mooted for a move to the DW Stadium last summer.

The Spanish side have yet to make a decision on the bid and Torres will the decision up to his coach.

"I don't want him to go, but the decision rests with our coach Luis Garcia," Torres told the Spanish media.

"Colunga could score 12 or 14 goals this season and be very valuable to the club."
