Real Madrid legend Michel says if Vicente del Bosque was still at the club, they wouldn't have lost so many former Castilla stars.

Michel, now in charge of Getafe, said: "Nobody except him (Del Bosque) has trusted Alvaro Negredo. This generation of players, if Del Bosque had been around, would not have been allowed to leave.

"He knew them very well, as (Pep) Guardiola knew his club's third team.

"Selling Negredo has not helped anyone, apart from himself, and I am absolutely delighted for him."
