Getafe's Ecuador right-winger Joffre Guerron is being tracked by Wigan Athletic.
Wigan manager Steve Bruce spotted him while he was watching striker Cristian Benitez, who has been priced out of a move to the Latics in the summer.
Guerron, 24, has been in La Liga for a season and would cost about £4million.
