The former Fluminense has rejected Barcelona to join the Giallorossi.

“I want to thank the club very much. I saw the friendly, [against Sevilla], it was sensational - 10 goals and a great win.

“The team is strong, and will fight for the title.

“Now I'll go back to Brazil, and I want to have a great season, for myself and for the Fluminense fans."
