Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard says their top four push is well on track after thrashing Everton 4-0.
It was the Kop's biggest Mersey derby win for 32 years.
Gerrard, who scored the first last night, said: "The aim all season has always been top four and we are right in that mix.
"We've got two world-class forwards in Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge and with them we have always got a chance.
"We wanted to get back to being ruthless in games at home and I thought we did that."
