Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard says Saturday's thrashing of Manchester United at Old Trafford is one for the ages.
"This performance was right up there at the very top with the great Liverpool results of the past, because we have beaten the world and European champions," said Gerrard.
"The most pleasing thing was the character we have shown after going a goal down.
"Many teams would have gone to Old Trafford, conceded that goal, caved in and United would have won by three or four. But we fought back.
"We have been to Stamford Bridge and won there, we got a draw at the Emirates and now we have won at Old Trafford.
"These results show we are good enough to win the Premier League. But it has been frustrating in other games we have drawn, where we have not been able to break teams down.
"Even so, it is no good looking back. We just need to look forward, keep fighting and make sure we win every game still left."
