Gerrard: Liverpool need to win PL for fans

Steven Gerrard has told Sky Sports News that after an 18 year wait the fans deserve the Premier league title.

"From a personal point of view it's the only medal I haven't got so it would be nice to finish the collection off," the Reds skipper told Sky Sports News.

"But it's not about me, it's about the club and the fans. The fans have waited so long for this title - it's time it was delivered.

"We need to give everything we've got to make those fans happy."
