Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard is happy over his contract situation.

Gerrard has one more year left on his contract after this season. Now is not the time to discuss his future but he evidently wants to carry on.

"It's not important at the moment," Gerrard told the Telegraph. "But the club and myself know where we are relationship-wise. It's not an issue. They know that and I know that and I am sure we will cross that bridge when we come to it.

"I'm as happy as I have ever been at the moment. I'm skipping into work and I love this manager and the coaching staff and I adore my team-mates."
