England captain Steven Gerrard feels for Liverpool teammate Danny Sturridge after injury ruled him out of tonight's World Cup qualifier against Moldova.
Gerrard had sympathy for his teammate Sturridge, who has scored five goals in four appearances for his club so far this season.
"It's a shame for Daniel. The stage was set for him to shine on the international stage. Hopefully he will come back for Tuesday because he makes the squad a lot stronger," he said.
