Steven Gerrard has indicated that he is keen to sign a new contract with Liverpool.
The Reds skipper has another year-and-a-half remaining on his current deal and he is looking to stay at Anfield for the rest of his career.
"I am contracted for another 18 months or so," Gerrard told Sky Sports News. "I am really happy. I am enjoying my football. I feel physically strong.
"I want to go on for as long as I can. I love playing for the club. I am captain. I am living the dream. I do not want that to end.
"Hopefully I can play and contribute in this new regime under Brendan Rodgers, because it is very exciting."
